VAM Investments runs a newsletter, through which it sends subscribers informative and institutional email communications about private equity and its own activity. The communications are purely informative and do not constitute an offer to the public or a solicitation to invest in financial products or instruments; they are addressed to professional investors who have already had dealings with VAM Investments.
Why we process the data and on what legal basis

The processing is carried out on the basis of Art. 130 of the Italian Privacy Code (D.Lgs. 196/2003) in respect of professional investors who have already had dealings with VAM Investments.

The United Kingdom is covered by an adequacy decision of the European Commission. The transfer to the United States to the importers Microsoft and The Rocket Science Group is legitimised by certification under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, which is covered by an adequacy decision of the EU Commission.

The processing lasts for as long as you are subscribed to the newsletter. You may unsubscribe at any time, using the link provided in each communication.
Consequences of not providing the data
Providing the data is optional and does not affect any other relationship between you and VAM Investments. If you do not provide these data, VAM Investments will not be able to send you newsletters. The newsletter is sent on the basis of legitimate interest: you may object at any time under Art. 21 GDPR, without having to give reasons; in that case you will no longer receive the newsletter.
